It is hard to believe that we were in our 20s and well rested 10 years ago today. It was the day after our wedding and we were catching our flight for our honeymoon.
Oh, the things I would tell my 25-year-old self today.
If you have been following along you know that I recently had some disposable cameras from our wedding night developed. They got here the day before our 10 year anniversary and I was almost brought to tears flipping through all of them.
I will explain why and how these pictures came to be.
As you are all aware, photography is expensive! I searched high and low for the perfect photographer to capture our wedding day so needless to say it was one of our biggest expenses. She had a couple of package options and we opted for a more cost-effective one which covered 4 hours of time. She was wonderful and captured all of the details and most important pieces of our special day. You can see pictures from our talented photographer here.
She arrived a little after 11am and photographed us getting ready along with details and the ceremony before having to leave around 3pm which was when the reception started. We do have some pictures from after she left but they are very few.
These pictures from 4 disposable cameras mean so much to me and I would highly recommend trying it out for any special events you have coming up. What I love the most about some of these pictures is that I have taken so many special moments in some of these people’s lives and that brings me so much joy!
You can still drop them off at CVS and the turnaround time is about 2 weeks – totally worth the wait! I have a photography print account so I had mine back in a couple of days and they included the digital scans which I think is so neat!!
